I recommend that you go through these multiple times if needed until you are confident that you have learned the materials or are ready to perform in the LABs. You have multiple ways of understanding the materials as provided by TestOut. You are responsible to go through all the links in Canvas in sequence before you attempt on answering any assignments or participating in any LAB activities.

Be aware of the computer requirements for all the software programs involved in this class such as TestOut, Canvas and Proctorio Broken computers and/or technical difficulties will not be accepted as an excuse to get an extension.If there are any discrepancies or issues with your grade, contact me right way. Check your gradebook every week to make sure that your TestOut grades are showing up.

Task completion by the deadline - If you fail to complete a required task, you will get an automatic zero on that task.

Each week begins on a Monday at 8 AM and ends on a Monday at 11:59 PM Mountain Time.

Otherwise, all late work will get an automatic zero. You must contact me one week prior to foreseen schedule conflict or as soon as possible for emergencies. Only valid and verifiable excuse will be considered.

Late Work Policy - Since the course is designed to prepare you for the industry approved certifications (CompTIA A+,TestOut PC Pro, CompTIA IT Fundamentals, and Fundamentals Pro), the course outline must be followed accurately, therefore, late work is unacceptable.

Upon successful completion of both Computer Repair and Upgrade I and II courses, the student will be prepared to attempt to take the Test Out and Comp TIA A+ certification exams. It is designed to acquire the knowledge and develop the fundamental skills to install, repair, upgrade, configure, troubleshoot, improve, perform basic computer networking, and preventive maintenance of PC's hardware and software. This course is part II of the Computer Repair and Upgrade course. In-Person meeting is by appointment ONLY although I am usually in my office from 8-5 Monday to Friday. I will respond to messages within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends.
